This initiative aims to enhance the coordination and organisation of emergency networks in the local area, with a focus on improving communication among local community and emergency groups. Additionally, it seeks to develop and implement a community emergency management plan specifically tailored for the communities along the Myall Way, including Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest, Winda Woppa, Pindimar, Bundabah, and surrounding properties. The plan will help these communities effectively respond to and manage emergency situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of their residents.
By strengthening the local emergency networks and establishing a robust communication system, this project aims to enhance the overall preparedness and resilience of these communities in the face of potential disasters or emergencies.
